VZW update coming through now

even when manually checking the update is not found

This is a thread for the initial update from back in Sept. Check your about phone section in settings. If it says firmware version 2.1 update 1 and has a DI01 in the next line you already have it. If not, then you might have a problem. The new update is DJ05 but, so far it is not out to the general public.

This page has the pdf that shows what it fixed. Wasn't much, DJ05 will be much nicer when we get it.

I think he has already hit this thread because everytime i see this pop up as an unread i keep getting my hopes up for froyo...then realize this is Verizon and probally wont happen this decade.

As of 11/30/2010, DJ05 has not been released OTA.
