Anyone noticing that the phone is constantly waking up. If I look at the ba5ery graphics the phone is waking every few minutes. I've had all the apps that are installed on other phones and not had this issue.

That is weird. I wonder if something is hanging up from the restore. Were you running the same version of Android on your backup?

Went through every setting I can think of and found that WiFi scanning was enabled. Turned it off but still see the phone waking in the battery settings. Rebooted my phone to see what the battery would do and it retained it's % so that's good.

Can someone check their battery screen and see if this is normal? I'm getting through a day of usage but I have 5700mah at my disposal. I wanna make sure I'm not missing out on even better battery life.

Is it sitting someplace that it can see movement, triggering its notification display?

Just left it on a table. And the awake hashes were basically non existent. It's gotta be something with moto display waking up

Phone has been sitting on my desk and still seeing the awake hashes. and Google play services is showing up in the list of apps. Gotta be a Google thing

I cant find the wifi scanning option to shut it off. Where did you find it at???

I noticed under data usage that there is a large value under "removed apps". The peculiar thing is that value increased. If it's a removed app...it shouldn't increase.

Also 100% of the usage is in the background.

No I still saw the awake hashes on the battery chart. But scanning should be turned off regardless. My battery gets me through the day so I guess I'll just take that as a win.

For me I felt it made a difference. Just one less thing having running in the background using battery.
