wallpaper HELP!!!!!

im trying to get this wallpaper to fit my evo and tried everything and its not working. please help me if you can.

I dont know what im doing wrong. i Dont need a android character i just need the picture itself to fit my screen.

I would enlarge your canvas size, not the image size.
Then I would paint the added canvas areas black.

Have your dpi around 80-120 (not much needed)

Then crop the image in camera for your background.

I created a blank image (I use 960x800), dropped in Black for a background color, then pasted in the image you had in your top post, then exported the image as a jpg... all of this with a photo editing software (I use Paint Shop Pro - it's about $100)... there are some free software packages out there, but this is a good/cheap package.
