Wallpaper resetting on updates

Have Motorola G 2, running 6.01, when I install an app update the wallpaper resets to original . Anyone else having this occur? :-$

Welcome to Android Central! I moved this to the Moto G (2014) forum, since I think you'll get better answers in your specific device forum, rather than the general Marshmallow forum.

Does this happen with any app update, or only specific ones?

Its a bit erratic did it today on facebook update and has happened several times before, only since I upgraded to 6.0

Try clearing the cache partition: https://motorola-global-portal.cust...tail/a_id/99808/p/30,6720,9151/kw/clear cache

The instructions are for lollipop? would it be the same for mar?shmallow

It should be. I'm not aware of any major change in the steps from Lollipop to Marshmallow.
