Nope, it'll just wipe all your data (take you back to like out of the box, but still rooted).

Let me ask, why do you want to reset? Are you having issues? (factory reset is rarely the fix for problems with a rooted phone).

hello, I was wondering I want to trade phones with someone, my evo 3d is rooted, if i do a factory reset will i just lose root? and will the phone work fine?
