I will also be new to Android and smart phones but have a significant background in other programming languages. I will be setting up an emulator and have looked at PhoneGap. My aim is to redesign part, if not all, the answering system.
I would appreciate it if someone would suggest an app that I can explore to see how it, and the code works. I really do not want a game or novelty but could start there.
