I lost my Moto X...TRAGEDY!!!

Fortunately, I have an S4 to tie me over while I mull my decision.

I have insurance on my X. The thing is though, I was wondering if I could get a custom version instead of the standard black model I bought initially. Thanks in advance.

Nope as I was told per cs is they only replace with a standard black or white device which is why I dumped the insurance

Did you call Asurion? Or a rep from Verizon?

Called Verizon and had them get Asurion on the line as well

you can't even get the custom version if you lost a custom version. You can't get the Dev Ed version, either if you lost a Dev Ed version.

Correct, so what's the point of insurance unless it was the moto insurance which Verizon won't allow but they'll allow apple care which is basically the same thing just a different company

apple has more leverage with the carriers. perhaps in time, moto will too.
