If you can, connect phone to external speaker. I connect mine to a UE Boom 2, sounds great!

I'm set to pick up my N7 blue after work today I've been rocking the N4 for 2 years I love this phone and its still mint and on kit kat that being said I know the phone just came out but all the negative things like the speaker not being good and how easy it will scratch and other complaints so far idk if I should just wait and not waste my time it sucks I already bought 4 cases for it what to do what to do!

I am looking at getting a Samsung Note 7 but am unsure due to the price of it. Also I'm thinking of getting the S7, could anyone give me some help or advice as to which one would be the better option? Cheers.

The Samsung Note 5 Speaker was crap too and 4 was the best. I wouldn't worry about scratches as long as you use a case and a screen protector.

I can think of exactly 0 times I've used my phone speaker for anything other than phone calls...and even then, most of the few of those are via Bluetooth.

I use it for music while on the go however I use bluetooth in my car and the amazon echo and tap at home as the music sounds much better thru those sources.

Never buy or buy not a product based on other people's experiences. Your experiences is all that should matter.

My two year old watches YouTube all the time on mine through the speakers, or heck coworkers and myself will show videos to people. So people do use it, but I'm sure the speakers will be more than adequate

I see complaints about the speakers, but after having a Nexus 6p I don't see a heck of a lot of difference in sound. If anything the Note 7 seems to have some depth in its sound. At first I was all about the front facing speakers, but in the long-term it doesn't make a difference to me.

I'm really want the note 7 but just wondering if it's worth paying the hefty upfront fee for it?!

Nobody can answer that for you. I see you are looking at the S7 or the Note 7. First, You need to decide on what size phone you want. Do you want or need the S-Pen? Those are the two big ones.

If you want a big phone with a SPen then the answer is easy or if you want a smaller form factor then the answer is also easy.
