Watch Bands for Moto 360 2nd Gen

I contacted Motorola support on the 3rd looking for stock bands and they no longer sell them through the store nor can they tell me where to get them. I've tried several 3rd party leather bands and they were either too short or were very thin leather and weak around the quick release pins plus the buckles were thin and weak. The only one that worked was a $7 silicone band which I got for when I do yard work so I don't sweat into the leather.

Amazon has a ton of 20-22mm quick release bands for the 42 and 46mm gen 2 watches and after sending back 3 in the past week alone I've grown weary of them. I even tried a milanese stainless steel band that was supposed to fit the gen 2 moto 360 but it couldn't reach the pin holes on the adjustment side of the band.

Sounds like you have exhausted all options in regard to quick release.
IMHO you should expand your search to standard 22mm straps. You'll need a springbar removal tool and a little practice to learn how to use it, but its not hard at all.

Your options unfold exponentially if you can use traditional spring bar straps

I'm in the same boat and have tried several 22mm quick release watch bands from Amazon which don't fit the same as the original leather band. Many are too short in length and will not go around my wrist and the milanese bands will not clear the lugs so I can get the pins into the holes.

I found a silicone band that fits perfect into my 46mm gen 2 for $7 at amazon but everything else doesn't fit right. I'm desperately looking for another leather band to wear unless I know I'm going to get rained on or will sweat then I'll use the silicone so I don't ruin the leather.

i just bought that silicone strap and it fits my 46mm great... its like Motorola made an OEM strap, the fit is that good. I bought 3 of them: black, forest, desert sand.

I also have a couple of these leather zulu straps, they're also excellent for the $$. I rotate them in and out of various watches including the moto 46.

You mentioned trying several 22mm quick release Amazon straps... would you mind sharing which ones you tried and were unhappy with? I'll make a note to avoid those. thanks!!
