Watch ESPN app with Time Warner problems

We have none of the cable providers in my piss ant town. It would be mighty nice of someone to let me use the user//pw info to watch ESPN the app. :D

same thing happening here with NCAA Live app. It think the TWC page is timing out actually and that's why we get the error. Oddly enough, if I keep turning the phone from portrait to landscape and back to portrait several times, it eventually connects to the TWC login page. I haven't figured out yet the exact timing or sequence and it's trial and error but eventually it works. I enter the data on the login page and then it takes a few tries there as well. I keep hitting the submit button several times. It may crash and go back to "page not found" and I have to start over again. I think it is some type of time out problem with TWC. Keep trying, eventually it will work. Works like a charm on WiFi but I struggle on over the air.

thanks for the information - have the same issue with my Galaxy S3 - works over wifi, get the loging error over the broadband 4G.

I will check later to see if there is a resolution

Hey everyone......... This is a problem with the timer on the application itself (For the Note/2, S3 and S4 devices) due to the implementation of IPv6. And time warner does not have an IPv6 resolution for their domain:
Samsung devices follow the next steps on DNS queries
If IPv6 is available in the device (and network), DNS stack follows:
1. Sends IPv6 query to DNS server1 and waits for response or 5 seconds timeout
2. In case of timeout sends IPv6 query to DNS server2 and waits for response or 5 seconds timeout
3. In case of timeout retries IPv6 query to DNS server1 and waits for response or 5 seconds timeout
4. In case of timeout retries IPv6 query to DNS server2 and waits for response or 5 seconds timeout

This means that if DNS server does not provide any response, the device waits totally 20 seconds before sending IPv4 query. Usually 20 seconds timeout does not happen as the DNS server sends an empty response in case the server has no IPv6 resolution information (Like in this case!) so when the device attemepts IPv4 the aplication has already timed out and buumm "there is your error"

So if you all want to have this resolved give a call to the app developer and ask them to extend the timer on that App!

Hope this helps :)
