Water damage indicator

Okay for Verizon, is it all white, or are there X's?
I've been hearing and seeing different things. I heard that it's supposed to be all white.
Some people are saying that there are X's normally. Which is it?

There was a thread about this a while back, and it was very confusing because different carriers had different stickers--some white, some with red crosses, some with blue crosses. But I think that for all of them, water damage makes the sticker turn a solid color (either red or blue).

that's what I thought....... but the person told me I had water damage...
