Okay so water drops fell on my TB today they fell on the bottom part of the phone where the home and menu buttons are that whole strip and now when I touch those buttons it doesn't have that vibration thing anymore they still work but I'm just concerned if it can be fixed thanks guys

Remove the battery and throw both into a bag of rice. The rice will suck the moisture out of the phone and battery.

After around 24 hours in the rice, re-assemble and monitor carefully. If you notice the phone heating up an excessive amount, turn it off. Look into replacement options.

Tech explanation: Your phone's battery contains the alkali Lithium. All alkali's, Lithium included, are highly reactive (ever stick sodium or potassium in water before?). The resulting reaction between lithium and water separates one hydrogen atom, and adds one lithium atom, creating a highly caustic hydroxide in a fusion/fission reaction that is less volatile than sodium hydroxide (lye) and potassium hydroxide (potash).

The reason the battery may get hot is if the water makes contact with the lithium, it can start a chain reaction known as thermal runaway, which can lead to explosions. Consumer sold Li-Ion cell batteries have some protection against thermal runaway that will limit the reaction to just overheating and swelling.

sings, "Bill--Bill--Bill---Bill Nye the science guy" :)

thank you. seriously. i've never bothered asking why, before.

Edit: it'd also be funny if you forgot you turned off Haptic/Heptic feedback before the water damage :)
