Way to Delete Predictive Dictionary

Does anyone know if there is a way to reset the predictive dictionary cause i accidently saved a nonword when i was texting one time. Apprieciate the help and i am loving this phone so far.

As far as I know short of doing a factor reset it can't be done.

It may be different on the Eris, but on the Moto Droid you can go to settings>language & keyboard>user dictionary and clear entries from there. Is that an option on the Eris?

The only way to do it is: settings>applications>manage applications>touch input>clear data.

The only downside is that you will lose any previously saved words.

Yeah, that's a serious HTC flaw. One thing I miss from BB the ability to manage my dictionary and key shortcuts.
