weaker signal/reception?

just wondering if anyone is showing a weaker signal with the note7's? mine shows -112 to -116dBm (1-2bars) whereas my note 5 ranged from -97 to -102. haven't made many calls to test call quality but am thinking a weak signal will impact battery life too?

I notice reception seems better than the Note 4 and the Note 7 is more forgiving in weak signal areas than the MXPE. My MXPE seems to be less receptive. Ironic since Motorola devices usually are better.

I'm also coming from a MXPE and the radio and wifi seem to be better
