Android Central Question

Hi There. I am pretty fed up with my TAG Connected. It's not so much the watch but the thoroughly poor software running it. Current issues are:

1) I read a text on my watch, press reply, press voice-reply and it nothing happens.
2) I attempt to use the "OK Google" option, I say "send text message to John" then watch then asks "To Whom". I say the name again, the watch reads it, displays it then ask again, "To Whom"?

Any ideas on how to sort these issues. The performance of the watch/software combo is **** poor. Its like running a Rolls Royce with a Lada engine. Constantly getting issues. Fed up with it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Cheers
JW

Assuming you've done the usual things, like deleting battery / RAM managing apps, clearing cache, and deleting old txt messages... I don't think theres much you can do beyond that. My similarly aged moto360 has also lost its voice recognition interface. It lags like crazy and just times out 9/10 times when I try to use voice. The handwriting keyboard is also no good, or its inconsistent at best.

In 2019 it only really works as a basic message notifier. Any kind of interactive response is useless.

Overall WearOS (and predecessor Android Wear) has been buggy and inconsistent for me too.
