Web Browser: Which is best?

I use Chrome, Firefox and Opera Mobile, with Opera Mobile earning a shortcut on my home screen.

Will any of these browsers let me download anything from Rapidgator.net, rapidshare.com, hotfile.com etc...

I like firefox since I use it at my home computer, and I can sync bookmarks and open tabs on my comp to my phone when I have to leave the house.

Chrome does that as well.

Chrome on PC, tablet and phone for me. By far my favorite.

im guessing your carrier is blocking them?
i got around content barrs by changing my APN settings but im in UK.
maybe theres forums for your carrier somewhere?
not allowed to talk about that kinda thing on here though ;)

global s3, UK. Ask me anything and ill reply even if its just an intelligent (or stupid) guess ;)

I personally favor Opera Mobile.

There isn't one browesr that is markedly faster than all the others with *every* webpage and the features that the various browsers offer differ. So it is more subjective than objective. Therefore, the correct answer is for you to load them all up and take a couple of days trying them out. Then pick the one you like the best.

Have to agree with this. It really will depend on you. Try them for a few days. I like both the stock and Opera, depends on my use at the time. Use them both.

yeah people have different experiences.. maybe dependant on carrier or area..
Maxathon is still the fastest "full" browser in my area on my carrier network :)

I can download using DepositFiles, but anything else; it starts to download, and completes in like 10 seconds and says "downloadfile.htm" underneath that it says "Download complete"

For my S3 i use stock browser mostly. For my tablet i use Dolphin mostly.

Quick question. On the iPhone if i scrolled all the way down on a webpage, all i had to do was tap the top of screen and it would take me back to the top
Could you do this on android?

no mate. in motion settings, theres "tap to top" but unfortunately it doesnt work in browsers :( would probably be an instant law suit lol. wish a browser would include it as an add-on

I prefer both: the stock browser on the HOX and Dolphin.

The new Jetpack addition to Dolphin may change a few minds. They claim 5 - 10X faster than the default Android browser and 2X faster than Chrome...
I don't recall . . . does Adobe Flash work with Dolphin? That's the main reason I've stuck with the stock browser ? which has actually always worked great for me, mostly.

I'm personally heavily invested on Firefox on my desktop so I have Firefox mobile on my phone for syncing bookmarks just in case I need to look up one of my desktop bookmarks while I'm out. But for personal mobile browsing I use Opera mobile. I just absolutely love the speed dial start page, I don't know if there are other browsers that start on the speed dial. I migrated from Symbian using Opera.

I switched from Dolphin to Boat Browser. Simpler, faster, smaller. Flash support. I like it.

Absolutely! After reading the whole thread I was surprised that the last post was the only mention of Boat Browser. I've been using it since switching to android and it's a great browser, I like it better than Dolphin as well. Chrome seems fast but is HUGE and has fewer features. Firefox...just doesn't seem completely realized yet. I actually haven't tried Opera on android though, may have to at least check it out.

firefox for me, I sync everything with my foxes on all devices.
