Weekly battery drain

I've noticed that every Sunday my battery gets drained almost 50% in 2, 3 hours from 9 AM to 11 am. And the we chat App uses the most battery. Moreover, the we chat app always signs me out during thus time... sounds like spy ware, doesn't it? If I uninstal /reinstall, does it get rid of any spy ware (if any). Scans of the device with anti-virus yield nothing.

I notice this too but I do not use the We Chat app so I doubt that is the cause. I've had my phone for a few months and a sudden battery drain has happened to me 2 or 3 times in total. I usually just have to re-charge the S3 to 100% again and then the rampant draining stops. Have you been able to figure out the issue?

Thanks for the reply. Sorry I can't be of any help, mine does it every Sunday at the same time and without fail, I'm signed off the we chat app. Maybe NSA has an interest in me?
