If you're using your pc, after you hit reply, in the tool bar you'll see a square icon with the picture of a tree. If you hover your mouse over that icon it will say "insert image". When you click on that it gives you the option of inserting an image "from url" (which is what you seem to be doing) or "from your computer", (which is what you should be doing). Click on "from computer", then "choose file". From there you can choose the picture located on your computer. Then click on "upload file". There ya go, easy peasy. :)
Good luck

I'm having trouble uploading a pic. Shot at 9.6 MP its 3200 x 2100 or something like that and it says it's too big. I've uploaded pics with the same settings here before. How do I resize it?

kiley backyard 640.jpg

This is a picture of Kiley taken with a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with some cropping. She's a local rescue who was found wandering around a park with a small pack of various dogs. She's named after the band "Rilo Kiley". This is a rare, immobile shot of her taken after running around like a madman in her grandmother's backyard.

Download a photo editing app/program, or use the "paint" program in Windows. It allows you to resize photos and re-save them.
Good luck! :)

I couldn't find the pic I really wanted to post, but I might not have used an Android phone at the time (it's an old pic), so I'll enter the contest with this one.

Taken with my Droid Razr HD Maxx. The only thing I would add is a caption that reads "this is why I don't make my bed that often"

This fellow has been on the campus of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), my place of business, for several weeks now. Even during the Federal Government Shutdown, he was hard at work! Taken with my LG G2, no editing other than resizing the image to 1440 x 1080 (... on my mac).

A brief aside, is there any way to actually post images from one's phone? If not, am I the only one who sees the irony in that fact?

You can use the forum app called Tapatalk, it gives you that option. Or go through the browser on your phone.
