Weekly Photo Contest: Fog

Got married in September. Just before the wedding my wife and I went to Alaska with some of her friends from living in Juneau. There is a 100+ mile relay race from Skagway, Alaska to White Horse, Canada. It's called the Klondike, as the race takes place over the Klondike hwy.

I ran leg 5. It was 16 miles at 2am, and it was about 35 degrees outside. It was amazing.

This photos is of the finishing turn of my leg of the race. It was taken on the drive back to Skagway the following morning. To bad I ran it at night, because it was beautiful!

Time of my life (until the wedding of course). Such a great memory.

Taken with an LG G3, post processing in VSCO. Filter was M5. Little bit of exposure adjustment as well.

A thin layer of fog settling on Lake Santeetleh in Western North Carolina. I took this pic with my Moto G LTE while kayaking. It was a super fun weekend camping with the family!

Here's fog coming in off of Lake Superior. We were camping on the North Shore in Minnesota a few summers ago, and you could see the fog rolling in and up the shoreline. My sister and daughter are pictured, happily throwing rocks into the lake.

This was taken with a Galaxy S3 (stock camera, panoramic). The only change was to resize the picture to allow attachment.

Taken while walking through the woods doing a deer drive during the Wisconsin gun opener the weekend before Thanksgiving. It was unseasonable warm with the fog lifting off of the snow from the previous few days as the temps climbed higher.
