While on a very foggy night in Chicago, I took a night pic of the John Hancock Center. Taken with my Nexus 5 on the stock camera app, HDR+, enhanced, and that's it.

Took this picture of Mt Rushmore on a family trip in June. There was a lot of fog rolling through the black hills that day, but finally the clouds lifted enough to see the faces. I took this with a Galaxy S4 with HDR turned on and then did some very light editing in Google+.

I had woken up early to get some shots of the sun rising over the lake on base, and was instead greeted by this very dense fog. I figure rather than leave defeated, I'd use the fog to capture some unique photos. The resulting photo surprised me, edpecially being taken with a phone. I used a Note 4 with stock camera app and no editing software.

San Francisco's famous fog is swallowing the City and part of the Bay Bridge. I took this photo during a ferry ride back to the East Bay, happy to escape the fog and getting back to the sunny side.

Yep. It's a known problem that they are either unable or unwilling to fix. I haven't been able to enter a photo contest for months, every time I try I get a message that says something like I'm not authorized to perform this action, yet I can post pictures in other threads just fine.... I've had a few emails back and forth a few months back but they stopped replying and nothing is fixed.

I took this pic on my Samsung Galaxy S5 right after taking off through the rain. I was in a Cessna Caravan Airplane taking off and after passing the rain clouds and reaching the clear i managed to capture this scene. You can see the dark rain clouds and fog around the mountains and surrounding areas. I also like the effect that the setting sun's reflection had on the sea. It had enough opening through the clouds to cause that effect. I edited the picture a bit using the S5s studio editor. Brightened it up a little and turned up the contrast a bit as well. I didn't want to spoil the picture by editing it too much.
