Jean Dair.jpg

This bronze statue titled "Jean Dair Nude" is an installation in the Rodin Garden at the North Carolina Museum of Art. Their Rodin exhibition is my favorite part of the museum, as I've always been fascinated by the artist's skill. I took this photo with my S5 and did some editing with Snapseed to bring out the strength in the bronze and the vibrant blue of that day's sky.

This is the wife's current amassed collection of medals, all of which are also made out of various metals. =]IMG_20150329_093900~2.jpg

Taken with Galaxy S5 and edited on Droid Turbo. This is the wall on the The Living Planet Aquarium in Utah. When I first saw it my eyes had a hard time focusing on it. I then took a pic and cropped it for my background.

I left the blue sky to show that it really is the side of the building.

What better interaction of metal is there than music? I recently got this piano and were trying to find more information on it. We took this picture to send to a historical society, and discovered it was made in 1917.

This picture was edited in Google photos to enhance colors and add a tilt shift.

Rapid Erosion. These steps are moved, and the cottages disappear almost yearly.

Thought I might give a last minute try :-)
Photo taken with an Xperia Z3 compact in Duisburg, Germany, at a location in the industrial zone. Lightly edited in Snapseed.

This particular place has been transformed into a park where you're free to climb the stairs of all steel constructions like shown in the photo. Nowadays they light them up when it gets dark. Quite an awesome place to wander round, though it got very chilly when the sun went under!
