We love taking the boat out to "The Sandbar" on the weekends. The pictures were taken with my Motorola Droid MAXX and Google+ created the panorama using "Auto Awesome". I decided to let G+ create the panorama instead of using the phone camera to do it.
Lower Manhattan - taken from the ferry to Liberty Island during the heatwave in mid-July. Galaxy S4, with a small bit of cropping using the native camera app.
Chumash Painted Cave Road. Taken with my Nexus 4 - Stock Panorama/Photosphere
My girlfriend decided she wanted to go up to go see the Painted caves up in the Santa Barbara Mountains. The Road was tight and really freaking narrow. We had people zooming on down. I guess they were people who lived on the Reservation. So we get up to the top where we expect an huge awesome cave with paintings on it. Nope, it was small probably about the size of a small bathroom. Either way just seeing the paintings on the wall that was covered by an iron gate. Was pretty dang awesome. The area around the cave was actually alive. Compared to the dead grass and the dryness of the mountain. Where the paintings were located, there was a stream, some really tall trees, and they were really green. It felt different and it just felt peaceful. I would go up there again. Pretty sure on a clear day, you can see the Pacific Ocean and Santa Catalina Island. It was beautiful.
WW2 Memorial Panorama Taken using: Samsung Galaxy
I took this photo a year and a half ago after I just got the Nexus. This was the first time I used the built in panorama function and I loved it's functionality. It's too bad that the memorial is closed now. Photo is slightly edited using Photoshop to bring out colors in the image.
