Was just flipping through my DropBox Camera Uploads and found this picture that I'd taken last month. I actually went for the effect, using Instagram, and put a B&W filter on it...and really didn't take it into much consideration...and I remembered this thread. Just a shot west of Calgary looking towards the Rocky Mountains with some hay bales.

Occasionally there's a glitch with that app. I had the same thing happen, and asked a mod about it. They said to just keep trying, as per the conversation below:

Hey man... Can you please look into whether or not I can post pictures? I I tried to from the Android Central app and it said that I might not have permission. Was trying to post in the Black and White photo contest. Thanks!

You should be able to. I know there have been issues with that app/Tapatalk for about a week (it takes me like 6 tries to post a picture lol). Did you try uploading it through tapa or through the forums (attachment)?

Well, I took this with my iPhone 5. Got a little purple haze in the corner, by the bulb. Had to work hard at it! LOL

I captured the flare, purple and all...and didn't even realize it until I was going through my photos tonight. Thought my kid was so cute having fallen asleep, so after I pulled into the garage, I snapped this picture. Sun came in and purpled up the left side of the image. Taken with a Samsung Galaxy S3.
