Weekly Photo Contest: Vintage

Liking the old look of things isn't just for hipsters — it's okay to appreciate the past and integrate some of those items or looks into your life today. Whether you're a fan of the old world charm or have more of an eye for modern conveniences, you can appreciate vintage items — and that's why this week's photo contest prompt is "vintage."

For their winning pictures this week, two entries will receive an Arkon Mobile Grip 2 Universal Smartphone Flexible Mini Tripod Mount, which should really help with mobile photo taking going forward!

Entering is easy. Just drop your entry in a post below. Tell us what Android you used to get the picture, and any back story you want to add to it. We'll pick a winner Tuesday (January 27) night at 11:59 PM ET, and announce them on the blog with next Wednesday's contest.

• Pictures must be taken with an Android device
• Pictures must be uploaded to the contest thread. I'm not running all over the Internet to track them down.
• You have to tell us what device you used to take the picture, and any special software you might have used. Editing your pictures is fine — this is art.
• Feel free to add a little back story — we want to know how the picture came to be.
• You must have used a valid email address to register here at AC, so I know how to contact the winner.
• Only one entry per week per person.

Taken during my family vacation to the bavarian town of Leavenworth, Washington State. He was the nicest guy, and certainly, 'Vintage'. This guy just all of a sudden, jumped up on the railing (unassisted), and started blowing into his alpenhorn..It was amazing.

I took this quite a few years ago with my Nexus S 4g that I had then. It is an old air pump that was still in service back then at a garage in Cleveland.

Took this last year on an outing to a pool hall with some buddies. This pool hall closed a few months ago
I edited the pic to make it nostalgic. The original had color. Only thing it seems to be missing is a signature from an old time movie star.
