The Seattle Great Wheel, taken with my Galaxy Note 3 back in February when my girlfriend came to visit. I recently moved back to my home state of Texas (that's where she and my family are). Pictures like this make me miss Seattle.

This photo was taken with my Micromax Unite 2 and thereafter edited using VSCO Cam. I was standing under the Ferris Wheel during a fair, waiting patiently for my turn, just when the idea of this image came to me. The lights looked very appealing to me with all the lines they created with the metal. I even included a bit of grain in the image to increase the chaos the lines already created.

While many of the "wheels" here does not take you anywhere, this wheel pictured is recycled to take farmers farther than before. They could take their crops for sale to father markets with lesser transportation costs.

This photo is of the ferris wheel in Seattle and was taken on September 14, 2014 with a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. I was in town on that Sunday for an early morning meeting the following Monday and as it was a beautiful day in Seattle I decided to head to an early dinner at Crap Pot instead of staying in my downtown hotel room. While strolling along the waterfront I was drawn to the "modernism" of the ferris wheel on a pier that seemed more from the past than the present.

I used Abode Photoshop Express in my GN3 to crop the photo, and used the Autumn filter and brought up the contrast to tone down the colors and give the photo a look that one might have seen with a pocket Kodak camera from the 70's or 80's.The goal was to take something from today and show it as taken "yesterday" so it appears the ultra-modern ferris wheel was well ahead of it's time. A "Back to the Future" feel.
