Weird screen

I have Note 3 & randomly a weird space ship-outer space blue colored screen comes & goes/fades in & out about every 30 seconds to a minute. it stays on for about 3-5 seconds & goes off. It shows battery life, running apps & I can't remember the last thing. Does anyone know what this is & how to get rid off it? Thanks!

I think you have air gesture turned on. When you move your hand or finger over the sensor it gives you a glance to see time, if you have messages etc.

If you go into settings>>motions and gestures you can turn air gesture off from there.
