Weird Tint With Polarized Sunglasses

While I'm enjoying my Note 10 Plus, I'm having a very difficult time seeing the screen when wearing polarized sunglasses. The screen has a shiny purple / multicolored tint.
With my S10 Plus, the screen would only darken at certain angles.
Any idea what could be causing the colored tint?

Most likely the preinstalled screen protector.

I feel like I get that tint whenever i am looking at a screen or tinted window when wearing polorized glasses.

Such is the nature of polarization. The effects depend not only on the polarization of the glasses, but also of the phone screen itself. You can try different glasses that have reduced or no polarization, but it is what it is with your current combination.

Thanks for the insight y'all. Just found it odd that the S10+ didn't have this issue!

My polarized sunglasses actually got better. I came from the S9+, and it wasn't as good as with the Note 10+.

I'm still on the S10+ waiting for my backordered Note10+ and I've always had this issue with polarized lenses including on the S10+. I think it's all about the lenses and not something to do with the phone. I even see this rainbow effect on the back window of my car sometimes, I think it's normal.
