Probably not the right place for this but the AC forums app only shows a maximum of 3 likes for a post even if there are many more. Always bothered me.

The app just has the spinning circle and isn't updating anything. Switch to the CB forums list and it updates just fine. Switch back to AC and the spinning circle is back.

I already tried clearing the cache. I don't want to delete the data to. Although I'll I'd need to re-add is just the AC and CB forums.

I think "likes" from previously must have been wiped out for some of us, or maybe not yet moved over? I just noticed a trophy recently for a "1st" reaction, which didn't seem to make sense.

Which app are you using? The old AC app is no longer supported. You'll need to use the AC Forums app or Tapatalk.

This was Tapatalk. Got rid of the old AC app over a year ago.

I tried what was mentioned above - the "force stop" part which I hadn't yet tried.

That worked. Now I'm good.

They're not really lost, they just show differently and the calculations/rewards for showing them are different. If you look here - https://forums.androidcentral.com/account/reactions they should have carried over.

No I think a bunch (or all) got wiped out of AC for some people, before the switchover. For me for example, it only now shows reactions/likes since the switchover (maybe I just didn't have any previously , could be the case, I don't think so, but could have been). It seems to be working here in the new forums so that's the most important.

Could be. I know a lot still got moved however because they show on on the members list here of who has the most x - https://forums.androidcentral.com/members/?key=highest_reaction_score. It all still looks a little weird now because it's still fairly new and won't change until more activity happens and things update.

Not knowing what was happening, I deleted the app, and when I went to try to reinstall the app, I couldn't find it. Is TapTalk the only option now? I find this choice of neon lime green quite jarring to the eyes. It also makes some of the buttons harder to read against a white background.

Cannot mark some forum sections as Read. And no overall "Mark Forums Read".

If you go to New Posts, click more at the bottom, you'll then have "Mark forums read" in the top right. You should only ever have to click more at the bottom once as it will stay set that way.. unless you clear your cookies or don't log in for a while.

The AC Forums App won't let me post a picture taken from my S23Ultra. It says "This community does not support attachment with this file type."
