Sucks that happened to you, but glad you're free from stress and can be happy with your device.Hah! I had not one, but TWO S8+. The first one had a nasty pink display. I sent it back, and they shipped me a brand new replacement. Guess what? Another nasty pink display.
Samsung then released a "red tint fix" software update. All that did was remove the red. All removing the red did was turn the pink display to a puke green hue. Even with all the extra calibration settings they added with the update, I couldn't get anywhere near actual white.
I emailed the Webstore for my carrier where I purchased it. Three days later I have a silver G6 in my hand, and a return mailer to send the POS S8+ back for a refund.
I should have learned after having to send TWO Note 7's back for the recall.
I'm so done with Samsuck. They make great hardware, but their quality control sucks. Actually, so does their software. I was shocked that even with 4GB ram and an SD835, Samsung could still manage to make the phone lag and stutter.
I am loving the G6 so far. The camera isn't as fast as the S8+, but the picture quality is on par.
