Yes i finally made the jump to the G3. I placed the order online and have to go pick it up in-store today. I was torn between getting the iPhone 6 because of the awesome video recording it does which i hope the G3 doesnt dissappoint in that feature. I hope this phone meets my needs and expectations like it has to many of you

Well ull be happy with the g3's recording as its upto 4k recording... Apple are stuck in the past with there specs

Yeah they are stuck in the past and im pretty much fed up with staying locked into the Apple ecosystem and needing itunes for everything. I had iphones still the 3gs an im ready for a change. Owned a htc one m7 which was great but wasnt for me afterall and didnt last long as a keeper.

But what about it is impressive? That's what I was asking.

The video recording. No shakiness, not jittery, focuses pretty good. In general it does impressive recording. The rest of the phne nothing has changed it seems. Not trying to make it a apple vs whatever other phone but its a feature they actually improved on with the 6. From all the videos and reviews i seen over and over again its one of the best when it comes to video recording.

But on a side note, im going with the G3 and cant wait to try it out :)

You won't be disappointed as even users with iPhones have said to me that photos and videos taken by my G3 look great .

Consider the Quick Circle case. It's not just a case; it's an enhancement on the way the phone works. So many things you can do without even opening the flap.

So far so good im liking it. i do have a question so far. When the phone is locked an i put in the 4 step knock code, how do i prevent the screen from turning off everytime my finger covers the proximity sensor? Is it posssible or is that just a feature to let the phone know ''turn off, its dark''?

Welcome to the club. I love this phone. Best combination of size, performance and image quality for the money right now IMO. Very glad I made this choice and I hope you will be too.

Back in ancient times, people used to talk on their cellphones with the phone held to their ear. Thus, it was unnecessary to keep the screen turned on. The proximity sensor detects that something is blocking the screen, like the user's face, and decides that it is not necessary for the screen to be on, thus saving battery power.
BTW, since you are with AT&T and you decide on wireless charging, be aware that you must use a PMA charger and not the more common Qi charging system.
