West coast tracking #'s/ deliveries get in here

Mines has been sitting at a FedEx warehouse 3 hours from here since yesterday afternoon and won't be delivered until tomorrow evening.

Yikes. Finally got an email with tracking.

Mine was just picked up from the Verizon warehouse in Ontario, CA. It's 20 minutes from my house and will arrive tomorrow by 3 p.m.

So, now I am left to wonder what kind of crack cocaine any of the reps I've spoken to at Verizon are on over the last four days. It was sent via FedEx Overnight.

Mine left Memphis last night.... It's supposed to be here tomorrow by 7:00 P.M

11:42 am, about three minutes ago. FedEX dropped off my phone!!!!!!!
Was due today before 7pm. Glad it came early!
FedEX guy said he is dropping off a lot of phones today for VERIZON.
Now the unboxing begins!!!!

Mine is on the truck for delivery! Le Sigh. No one home today (the only day we are all out of the house all day). I left an "OK TO LEAVE in front" note. Do you think Fed Ex will take that??

BTW, this was THE slowest 2 day delivery I have ever seen! Between the 4th of July and the weekend, it's like a week!!!

None of it makes sense to me. It's Verizon, if it made sense I'd be worried.


Not sure where you are located, but I'm in Chino Hills, so it might be possible that orders originate from different spots based on counties / geographic areas, etc...… or it's just a big ol' clusterf**k of no rationale.

I do know that the next stop before it gets to me is in Chino. It's all very silly.

I'm in Chino Hills too, double weird. Even if it shipped out of Ontario I'd still get it the same time - around noon tomorrow.

That is what I did all morning as well. refresh-refresh-refresh-refresh
Then I heard the sound of a truck on the gravel road outside......
All looks good! SIM card activated, battery in, memory card in, now delayed gratification while I wait for the battery to fully charge so I can turn this beauty on!
I have to admit, even though I would love for everyone to have this phone sooner than later, I am secretly glad Verizon has delayed the phone a few more days for in-store purchase so we have a couple more days to be the chosen few. Makes pre-ordering worth a little something. (Aside from that unlimited data thing, which I managed to keep as well!)

Updating: it just got delivered! They left it at my front porch with my release signature! YESSS. Just sent neighbor to go get it to make sure it doesn't disappear until I get home from work. OH, and to plug it in and charge it for me. LOL.

YAHOO. Leaving this thread for now. Good luck to those of you waiting. I will post first impressions and comparison to my GNex as soon as I have had a chance to play with it for a little bit. Cannot wait for my new toy.
