What A Mistake !!

Does anyone think the Note 8 will get Oreo 8.1? I very much doubt we will see another upgrade anytime soon. I'm guessing 8.1 will roll out about 12 months from now.

Didn't the note 8 launch with 7.1? I can't remember, but I thought it did.

Realistically... nope. Unless current version is so buggy to effect usage for many, the next update will be P in 12 months. And if you follow this forum... dead quiet... so IMO that means the Note 8 has been a pretty smooth running phone for most.

And honestly, I really can't see or feel a difference between Nougat and Oreo after the update so I can't imagine there will be any difference or benefit in a .5 update.

Does Samsung ever push out point releases? Would the Note 8 realistically get 8.1?
