What Apps to download? (Widgets, Notifications, etc.)

I am not new to Android just new to this website and I apologize if something like this has been asked before but what are the best apps if I want to change what I'm looking at on my phone everyday? Like what are the best widget apps, or notification apps for text and email, just stuff like that. Thanks for any advice!
