What are other good note 5 cases that are heavy duty?

Currently I'm using a Otterbox Defender with the screen protector removed and using Zagg glass. It works great, but the rubber is kind of loose on this defender.

So what are some other comparable thick cases out there that will protect this phone? What about the Supcase? It looks thick but looks kind of cheap. The Poetic Revolution case coming out soon looks really durable but it has that loop on the top that sticks out to make it easier to remove the case which makes the case even bigger.

I just don't see a lot of thick cases out there for the Note 5 right now. Body glove usually has a case similar to Otterbox but they have not made one for the Note 5.

I was at Wal-mart and Sams today and they still don't have anything for the Note 5.

Oh and I still got a Speck candy grip. I noticed on the bottom it's bent. I've seen other Specks do this too.

The Commuter and the UAG cases are great. The UAG would be my favorite case if it had port covers like the Defender & Commuter.

Commuter isn't as bulky and has the soft rubber material which becomes loose. Looking for something more protective than that.

Pelican Voyager
+1. Use this case while at work. I like it because it doesn't have a built in screen protector. It fits nicely with a tempered glass screen protector. I also like that it's easy to take on and off.

At work today I saw a customer with a case that looked like this on a Galaxy s6. However I don't think this would work with wireless charging due to the kickstand built in that position

The best buy Platinum case is nice BUT it has the dead spot with the Spen due to the position of the kickstand magnet. My dad has one on his S5 and it survived an almost 5 foot drop face first in a parking lot without a scratch on his case or his phone. The dead spot is the main thing that keeps me from buying it. The Siedio case I hear as the same problems.

I hear the material is really soft, rubbery. I want something that is a bit more stiff and gives more frontal protection.

They make really good cases. I have one on my old Moto Atrix that I use for a quadcopter camera. It's survived every crash the copter hasn't! :D

I wasn't saying the case was bad but just saying I don't want something super gummy. Something that is harder rubber texture like the otterbox.

I have a Spigen Slim Armour on a Galaxy 6 and really like it a lot. I see they also make a Slim Armour case for the Note 5. If it's built the same as the GS6 case I highly recommend it.

With regards to frontal protection, both my note 4 uag and Note 3 spigen slim armor had a small lip.

Mine feels the same as my note2's otterbox. I'm using the pelican case for my 5, really digging it.
