I have had a great time using all these cases that have been recommended. The GearIT SHOXX PC / TPU Silicone Hybrid Rugged Hard Shell Cover Smartphone Case with Built-in Screen for Galaxy S5 SV, White is a very nice case if you want a built in screen protector.

Uag clear case! Slim profile. Strong protection! Otter box defender is strong with a firm grip and feel. Two cases I strongly recommend!

I'm looking for a case for my S5 that has a texture to it so it won't slip out of your hand. Any suggestions? I am using the Slim Armor case by Spigen and love it.....but I find it a little slick. Thanks.

This one is specifically designed with ridges on the edges of the case. It is the one I chose and even if my hands are oily, it does not slip away from me. Make Darn Sure that you order the one that states:
[h=1]Speck Products Samsung Galaxy S5 CandyShell Grip -[/h]
if you don't, it will NOT have the grip ridges. The rest of the options all have a slick case exterior.
* Speck CandyShell Grip- Black/Slate:

I have used alot of cases and found that I am overly picky. Have fun and try different cases. Most of them aren't very expensive.

Another vote for the tech21 case!
It's a perfect fit for the phone and offers great protection. I've put mine thru some scary situations but the phone and the case has held up fine. I've also got the Samsung wireless charging back plate on my phone. The case wasn't made to fit the phone with the wireless charging backplate on but I've got it on and all buttons and ports are lined up perfectly. This case has been a great one. I prefer it over a lot of the bulkier ones. This one is slim and looks great.

I got this one the other day. I like it because I got the copper color phone and this case got very good reviews. I also do not like a bulky case and this one isn't bulky.

I don't use a case for dust or water, but to protect the corners or the front if I drop it. If you drop a naked phone on the corner, the screen is almost always going to crack.

Oh, but that case is so slippery it falls to the floor in a heart beat.
Grip cases only for me, wet or oily hands and a phone do not mix well.

Well for me, it isn't slippery. The S3 was very slippery. I like the case I got above, it is the same texture and color of my phone and better protection than the clear ones.
