What are you remapping bixby to?

I don't have them on my current phone. From what i gather, it's a baked in IFTTT function, or basic Tasker to an extent, right?

Yes, though based on my understanding of AC's full review, it's more robust than IFTTT. That was my impression anyway. I haven't used it myself, but that intrigued me enough that I'll take a look at it.

I use the bixby single button push to launch Samsung Pay using the bixby command "make a payment with my card." I prefer this because I do not like the home screen shortcut for Samsung Pay. Other than that I do not use bixby.View attachment 299102

I did the exact same thing. My reason was I like using gesture navigation but not compatible with Samsung Pay as it will launch the pay with card vs. going home if that makes sense lol

That's really strange. Did you try and go into the galaxy app store and check for any other updates? Maybe try restarting your phone?

Yeah, I did, I was thinking the restart would do it for me but no dice

Ah-Ha! I went back into Bixby, and updated it from inside Bixby instead of the app store and that worked!

To maximize this, you still really should use bxActions. I paid for license to open up more options.

Unlocked screen actions:
Single Press: Google Assistant Extra
Double Press: Calculator
Long Press: Flashlight
Double Press and hold: OurGroceries (list sharing with wife)

Actions on locked screen:
Single Press: Rotate through sound modes
Double Press: Camera (yes, the power button does this, but it is so high on the right that I can't easily hit it any more)
Long Press: Flashlight (keep it consistent with unlocked screen)
Double Long Press: nothing as of yet...needs to be an action good for screen being off.

I'm in the minority here but I like Bixby. I use it completely different than Google Assistant. Both compliment each other for my use.

This is my first experience with Bixby. I don't have it set up yet. I'm interested in your take between Google Assist. and Bixby. How do they differ; what do you use each one for?

So I just left the single press to, do nothing.

You have to create a Bixby Quick Command to pay with your credit or debit card using Samsung Pay and then map it to that Quick Command. It works great.
