iphone 6s. Why? Because I'm sick of not having any choice in the phone that I have.

Ever since I started working for my current company, I've been using the company phone for both personal and work purposes. I imported my personal number into the phone and voila the phone has both my work and personal numbers. Call either number and the same phone rings. The upside to it is I don't have to carry around 2 phones with me like most people and I get a free phone every 2 years. The downside is I hate the iphone with a passion. I really hate it. I've always been an android person.

So, when I saw the S8 keynote presentation, I decided screw the free phone from the company thing. I'm getting a phone that I actually want.

Well, the spouse is currently using a droid that's a hand-me-down. Yeah, we both have been frugal. So, I told him screw the hand-me-down droid let me buy you an S8. And screw being frugal.

So, here I am buying 2 super-expensive phones. Sure, I'm scheduled to have surgery to sell one of my kidneys to afford the phones, but at least I'm not a slave to the iphone anymore.

Not really an upgrade, more like a sidegrade lol. My Pixel XL is still awesome. I just like to try new phones. If I dont like the S8+, ill go back to my Pixel XL.

LG G5. Yeah, I was one of the few. I just love being able to swap batteries and will miss that - and folks, though I never bought a "friend" and never wanted to, the phone is just fine if you ignore the modularity - but I'm super excited about upgrading to the S8+.

Agreed. The G5 was actually kinda great if you looked past the modularity. I'm also looking forward to the GS8.

Same here. S8 will live alongside my Honor 8, iPhone 7 plus

I thought the same thing, until I bought the Honor 8. Swapping between that and the G5, I actually found it pretty easy going back to the old way, with the lock button on the right.

Also, I'm totally jumping to the GS8 today!

Went from an S6 Active, to S7 Active, to V20. All were very excellent phones but still just wasn't good enough. The S8+ will sure to please for a long time.

I ordered through Samsung.com but am a VZW customer. I'm at work but can see that my phone was been delivered to my house this morning(yay!). Will I need to go in to the store to activate my phone?
