What are your favorite cases for the Galaxy S6?

Sounds like a smackdown video for fellofthetruck to do comparing the Pelican, the Defender and the Frè.

I like this idea except I only have the Defender. :( I'm still on the fence with the Lifeproof and will look at the Pelican the next time I pass by the AT&T store.

How is that front firing speaker deal on the Voyager?

It doesn't really do much to improve it. I used a decibel meter app on the G4 to compare the difference with and without the case, and it's about the same. Sometimes it would read a couple of decibels higher with the case on.

Been back and forth on what case I want. Still haven't found the perfect case for me. I want something that is slim but not too slim, has all of the side buttons expose, a case sticks out further than the screen to protect it. So far no luck :(

Just going through this thread and saw this: When I got my phone I got a bodyglove case from AT&T and I actually ended up liking it a lot (I got it because it was the cheapest case there) but it is thin has a lip and it has cut-outs where the buttons are. So if you are still looking maybe check it out. I think Fellowes is the manufacturer

What ever case you choose, it should have a lip deep enough to protect the display and the camera cut outs should be deeper than the camera hump. The sides should be able to absorb the impact of at least a six foot drop. These cases are going to increase the dimensions of the device but will give you the comfort of knowing that your device is protected. If the lip isn't quite deep enough, consider a tempered glass shield from Zagg, Tech Armor or other vendors.

I was at Best Buy just now and looked at their cases again. The Commuter case I can see why people say it's flimsy and cheap. Not a lot of hard plastic near the top of the case around the buttons.

I'm starting to like that Speck Mighty Shell. Looks pretty thick but not quite as bulky as the Otterbox. The Defender I have is annoying because after taking it apart a lot to clean the screen the plastic comes a little loose which causes that creaking sound, and on the bottom the rubber is showing some wear.

The Tech21 is nice but the camera and screen protection looks a bit too thin for my liking. Not enough depth.

How does the black Mightyshell look? I've only seen the orange one.

I have 2 cases that should arrive in the mail from Amazon tomorrow. I'm hoping that they'll compliment my white S6:

Spigen Galaxy S6 Case Ultra Hybrid (Color: Space Crystal)
I decided to go with the darker bumper color as I want to avoid the apparent yellowing that happens to the fully clear one. The bumper part is the only part that's TPU, so I should be good (as the back is still clear, but different material).

Rearth Ringke Slim for Galaxy S6 (Crystal Clear)
I went with the fully clear, since this case does not have TPU that may go yellow.

Why did I go with 2 clear cases? Indecision, haha. I wanted the slimness of the Ringke, but I wanted the protection of the Spigen. When I factored in that purchases of more than $25 didn't have shipping fees, I figured it was worth adding a couple bucks and getting both.

It looks good but some of the reviews people say the soft material on the back of it comes loose and they had to glue it. I guess at the end of the day the Defender is still the best all around case. However the two piece plastic part comes loose over time from removing it a lot hence why many say they get that creaking going on with it.

I'm still not sure but is the Commuter S6 case any good? From the looks of it it is loose on the upper sides of it due to the hard plastic not wrapped around it. What do you guys think of the Commuter? Is it a good case and would you switch from a Defender to a Commuter?

I have about 15-20 different S6 cases including 3 Defenders and the Commuter is my favorite case. I have about 4 different Commuter colors.
Had one Commuter that the silicone was loose and saggy by the power button and Otterbox sent me out a new silicone with no problem at all. The Commuter is a bit slippery but overall a great case.
This is my favorite color Commuter, Citron Green & Black. :p

I wonder in the Commuter case if the silicone comes looser because if your phone tends to heat up a lot? I love the Tech21 Tactical but I don't like the camera cut out depth as well as the front depth. If it was more deeper like the Defender I'd buy it!

been using that Citron Green & Black for the past couple of months with no problems. Rubber is nice & tight and works perfect.
