Would a fair analogy be the Commuter vs the Defender?
Definitely a fair analogy

Sounds like a smackdown video for fellofthetruck to do comparing the Pelican, the Defender and the Frè.
How is that front firing speaker deal on the Voyager?
Defender vs Pelican. Looking froward to it.I like this idea except I only have the Defender.I'm still on the fence with the Lifeproof and will look at the Pelican the next time I pass by the AT&T store.

Give me a week and I'll see what I can do.![]()
Been back and forth on what case I want. Still haven't found the perfect case for me. I want something that is slim but not too slim, has all of the side buttons expose, a case sticks out further than the screen to protect it. So far no luck![]()
What ever case you choose, it should have a lip deep enough to protect the display and the camera cut outs should be deeper than the camera hump. The sides should be able to absorb the impact of at least a six foot drop. These cases are going to increase the dimensions of the device but will give you the comfort of knowing that your device is protected. If the lip isn't quite deep enough, consider a tempered glass shield from Zagg, Tech Armor or other vendors.Just going through this thread and saw this: When I got my phone I got a bodyglove case from AT&T and I actually ended up liking it a lot (I got it because it was the cheapest case there) but it is thin has a lip and it has cut-outs where the buttons are. So if you are still looking maybe check it out. I think Fellowes is the manufacturer
I was at Best Buy just now and looked at their cases again. The Commuter case I can see why people say it's flimsy and cheap. Not a lot of hard plastic near the top of the case around the buttons.
I'm starting to like that Speck Mighty Shell. Looks pretty thick but not quite as bulky as the Otterbox. The Defender I have is annoying because after taking it apart a lot to clean the screen the plastic comes a little loose which causes that creaking sound, and on the bottom the rubber is showing some wear.
The Tech21 is nice but the camera and screen protection looks a bit too thin for my liking. Not enough depth.
It looks good but some of the reviews people say the soft material on the back of it comes loose and they had to glue it. I guess at the end of the day the Defender is still the best all around case. However the two piece plastic part comes loose over time from removing it a lot hence why many say they get that creaking going on with it.
I'm still not sure but is the Commuter S6 case any good? From the looks of it it is loose on the upper sides of it due to the hard plastic not wrapped around it. What do you guys think of the Commuter? Is it a good case and would you switch from a Defender to a Commuter?
been using that Citron Green & Black for the past couple of months with no problems. Rubber is nice & tight and works perfect.
