Man I'm so jealous I want exactly the colors you have. The red, black, and green. Haha. How much were just the colored shells at the verizon store you went too? I have on the defender right now and love it also I just have a thing for cases. Haha
I tried a metal bumper from Baseus... it fit nice, and looked very much like the original edge. It did not protrude top/bottom as the pics made it seem; it would not protect the camera bump when on flat table for example.
The big problem though, is that it interferes with GPS location. Strap that thing on, and my phone would get lost. Non starter, without the rest of the problems.

Those shells are $19.99 plus tax each at the Verizon store.
I also saw the inner silicone in that red color but did not get one.

The Defender should be number one. Best protection. One of the slimmest Defenders to date and amongst rugged cases.

Possibly. It is the slimmest to date that I have had over the last several years. They have gotten a bad rap for being klunky and bulky. The additional dimensions are solely a function of protection of the display and camera from face first drops from heights of several feet and not weight. The latest silicone outer layer is dense yet the flaps and buttons are not stiff giving it a more compact profile. I totally agree that one should always get what works best for them. If bumpers or TPU cases are that choice, awesome!!!
Well, I am using 'Verus Thor Heavy Drop Protection Case', it has dual layer construction. And I think it is a very safe case for S6.

I personally would never, EVER buy any of the Otterboxes, so it's not even on my list.
Different strokes for different folks, but I'm genuinely glad that you have a great case for your needs.
