What do you think of the Speck CandyShell Grip Case for Nexus 5X? Is it thick on the phone? It is in the play store, not on amazon sadly. I want a good case but not too thick and not too expensive.

I have been using this tempered glass screen protector along with the Adopted case from the Google Store with my Nexus 5X since I bought it. This screen protector is a little on the thick side, but I like it. It feels like there isn't a protector on the screen. The film protectors all have a different feel than the glass does.

I have just ordered my phone and I think I will go with the spigen case as it looks so thin. I haven't seen a nexus 5x yet but I notice the spigen cases come in the same colours as the phone. I have ordered the black phone, is it possible to use the mint case with a black phone or will some of the black of the phone be visible?

Damn, I am out of the UK until Tuesday so cannot access the uk store on my iPad. I was trying to decide between the Spigen case or the Google adopted case. Does the Google case add more bulk than the spigen case does anyone know? I hated the Google case for my nexus 5.

TLDR: Ringke case is great!

I got the Ringke case yesterday. I was lamenting putting a case on because I love how the phone felt. The Verus case is too bulky for me and I'm returning it. The Ringke case is perfect. It feels great and actually makes the phone easier to hold. Additionally, I bought a Spigen magnetic vent mount and the metal plate fits between the case and phone with no problems.

Pertaining to the metal plate fitting, can you confirm that your Ringke case is the Fusion? I believe I noticed somewhere that the Ringke Slim would not fit the metal plate.

I want the official case from Google but $35 is pricey for a case. I found it on Ebay but I question the authenticity/quality of it since they are only selling it for $13 or so and it's from China. Has anyone bought this case on ebay?

Update: I decided to buy the case from Google. I love it. The back looks like it's fabric but it has a nice smooth texture while still being somewhat grippy. I still think $35 is expensive for it but if you can afford it you will be satisfied.

I bought the Diztronic and Cruzerlite Bugdroid and I much prefer the Diztronic. The Diztronic feels so much better in the hand and honestly, I'm not a fan of the Cruzerlite design on the back. The Diztronic's texture and sturdiness are great.

i just got the supcase unicorn beetle and im digging it. it does add a little bulk but not as much as an otterbox does.

I noticed that the Unicorn Beetle with my Spigen glass screen protector pushes the side of the glass and pops it up. I did cut out the screen protector of the Beetle.

Agreed, I have the clear case on my carbon Nexus 5x. The buttons are easy to use, it is pretty slim and to audio jack cover is a great bonus. I'm using the IntelliARMOR intelliGlass screen protector. Fits perfectly and was easy to install. Great customer service as well.

I doubt there is a consensus. However, I would highly recommend the IntelliARMOR intelliGlass as a great option.

I'm using a iCarez tempered glass protector and it has been excellent.
