What are your favorite cases/screen protectors for the Nexus 5X?

It's interesting that I've not seen anyone else pick this case because it fits perfectly on the Nexus 5X

if you got the Google case for the nexus 5x in the bluish green color is it realy greenish blue or bluish green or agua ?

It's called Emerald and I went to go order that to "match" the Ice blue 5X I just ordered for my wife and it says it's not in stock. Same for the Folio case. I'm thinking they discontinued that color. I've been trying to find it from anywhere else and I can only find the Carbon on Ebay and I found the Quartz on another site. If anyone can give me a link to buy the Emerald Official Case please let me know.

Seidio (https://www.seidioonline.com/) is having a spring sale with everything on their site 30% off with their (usual?) free shipping. Lucky me, as I was just on their site a few days ago, and almost bought a few cases pre-promo. I'm not sure how long the sale will last.

I got their new Convert Combo case for the S7. The case looks really great, striking the right balance between slim form factor and protection. The set basically takes their conventional two-layer Surface case with kickstand and adds a third, rugged outer layer that you can slip on as needed. The holster that comes with the set appears to be a new design, and allows for the belt clip to be removed.

I also got a Seidio for my Nexus 5x, but just the Surface since they don't make a Combo for the 5x and per the Seidio rep I connected with, don't plan to in the future.

Seidio is a top-notch brand and the quality of their cases is outstanding. I'll try to report back once I've gotten the cases and have put them to use.

When I got my Nexus 5 I bought a tempered glass cover for the screen. I used it for two years and fought a constant battle with fingerprints. Not only did it collect fingerprints like wool pants collect cat hairs but removing the fingerprints often required a liquid. Then on a whim I took the cover off. I was amazed. I could go two or three days without seeing significant fingerprints and they wiped off easily with a microfiber cloth or an old sweat sock.

So, my new Nexus 5x will go without a screen protector. It will have to rely on me.

hey teg do they give full refunds i ordered a case from them and it was lost and never delivered

i called up the bank an told them to charge this sedio company for a full refund if you work for them tell them i wont be buyin from hem again and have contacted the bbb

Here's a few pictures. I think it is definitely more blue than green. It is definitely not Emerald though.

The Incipio DualPro protects the phone (military drop tested) without adding too much bulk. Rigid soft touch outer shell feels great. Inner layer absorbs shock.

I really like this case. Small, thin, and I've never broke a phone ever so I don't think I need a lot of protection.

Anyone have a recommendation for an otterbox-like case for the 5x? My wife is inheriting mine and her current phone has an Otterbox case. She's constantly dropping it & the phone is still kicking. Bulk isn't an issue, just needs to be protected.

Look at Seidio - seidioonline.com - closest thing to Otterbox you will find - I use on my 5X - have used Seidio on my devices for many devices over the years - excellent products and support.
