Hello all,

So last night after rebooting my phone my SD card decided to stop working. This is the message I got, "SD Card blank or has unsupported file system". I rebooted my phone twice still the same message and my laptop will not recognize the card. I've given up since then and will just have to buy another card. I had a Kingston class 4 8GB. I'm thinking about buying a SanDisk 10 class ultra. Fortunately I backed up my all of my pictures to my BOX account earlier this month so I can put those back on my new SD card! YES!

Question 1) What SD cards are yall using, and which do you prefer?

Question 2) What backup methods do you use? (I use box for my pictures, and all my music is stored in amazon's music app)

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated :)

You may want to consider a different card than the Sandisk Ultra. There's been A LOT of reports of those cards dying in S4s. For safer backups you may want to also consider using the app Helium which can backup to the cloud, or a PC, or an SD card. I ended up using a Sandisk Extreme which costs more but is built to a higher standard and, theoretically, quite a bit faster. The Extreme did fine in my S4 whereas Ultra's did not.

I'm sure others can chime in with what cards and solutions they've sucessfully used too.

I have at least 6 32g sandisk ultras and never had a problem. Have not tried a 64g yet.
Use Helium. Also google for pics and contacts and my pc for music. App monster pro for apps.
I don't think my business or life in general is backed up as well as my phone!
