What browser are you using with Optimus V?

Firefox isnt gonna be available on the V cause just like flash 10.1 they are only gonna be supporting phones with an arm v7 proccessor so once again the arm v6 people get screwed!

Yeah but its unsupported and crashes before even starting on almost every device. Don't see why they shouldnt put a little effort into this build too!

How did you do that? Phone rooted? I'm new to Android but love it already. How hard is rooting the Optimus v? I've unlocked 8350i to work on boost mobile and jail broke iPads n iPods before. Is rooting something I could handle?

if you have done adb work before it isnt too complicated. you can also try ROMtools.

i've tried opera, didn't like the lack of zooming options. tried dolphin, would freeze my phone sometimes. back to stock browser now

I use Dolphin Browser HD. You can remove the adds with the paid version (4shared FTW). It has tabbed browsing similar to Google Chrome, multiple themes, gestures you can use to open a link in a new tab, and it supports flash (Youtube at least).

I just switched from skyfire to miren...just seems better to me.fast and it plays flash videos..

Got used to this back on winmo and has the same feel here on android.
I just keep trying to exit when I'm done! hehe
