I have the same issue with the Seido screen protector & Surface case. I decided to return both, and purchase a Otterbox Commuter case

I have not had that issue at all with the Ultimate Screen Guard. FWIW.

I have the PT case from Best Buy (essentially the Seidio Surface). I also have a Zagg HD screen protector on it. I realize that the Zagg HD doesn't go to the end of the screen and their is a slight gap between the edge of the screen protector and the edge of the PT case. This space collects lint and dirt easier. I also can't get my case off and I don't want to force it and break the phone or ruin the Zagg (although my Zagg HD already is ruined-it's full of indents from fingernails removing it from the holster). I am very disappointed in Zagg but I will save the details for another thread.

Does anyone who has the Zagg HD have a Otterbox Commuter case on their phone? If so, do you still have that small space I spoke about above? Also how is the camera button on the Otterbox Commuter? (Does the 2 stage still work?)

Can anyone compare the bulk the Diztronic to the CM barely there case? From what I've seen, I've been leaning towards the barely there case. My goal is to provide protection, but keep the thin form factor of the phone as much as possible. I currently have a black HTC silicon case on my OG evo, and while it does a great job protecting it, it's tough to get in and out of my pocket and it makes the phone feel much bigger, which I don't really like.

It looks almost exactly like the free one, minus the branding. For $10 it's probably worth a try. Does anyone know who makes the free one? I looked on it, didn't see a manufacturer.

Siedo has a few good ones, there was another website, thought I bookmarked it but I guess not. Google, HTC EVO 4G LTE accessories or cases, a few decent sites will come up. I got a silicone gel type case about a week ago from Amazon, $5.02, had the same kind for my OG Evo. cheap, but protects it from daily wear and most drops.

Hmm i really had to ponder your statement for a moment. Then i remembered that in sense you have to pull down from the top of the screen.

I have adw launcher and you can pull down the -N- bar from anywhere on the screen. Much better.

Still should be easy though seeing as you pull down from below the htc branding on the top of the screen

Edit: Sorry you must have the Defender lol I always get the Commuter but damn i like this blue color Defender case.

I got the Diztronic case as well and I hate it. It's not even useable on my phone. It doesn't seem to be touching any of the buttons, yet my phone starts resetting itself and the power button feels like it's stuck in even though the case isn't touch the button. The search continues for a good case.

You got a defective one. Contact them about it, and they'll send you a new one free of charge.

I also got the platinum case and it is awesome! Tried the otterbox, but it is just too cumbersome. Also, I went without the zagg defender. I bought a screen protector off eBay for $5 that looks like it will work well. Have it already but hate to put them on because of its tediousness.

What screen protectors does everyone have that works the best?

That's not normal of TPU cases, specially TPU cases with a cutout for the button (it shouldn't touch the button at all)... I can't speak for Cruzerlite but Diztronic has EXCELLENT support, I'm sure they'll replace it if it's defective and if it's a widespread issue they'll recreate the mold and create a new revision. They did that for a much more minor cosmetic issue with the EVO 3D's camera lens cutouts, even tho it didn't even affect camera performance.

I've actually bought cases from both companies but won't be able to try them out until late next week, at best, stupid Sprint/Wirefly... Either one's short changing the other or WF failed hard at estimating pre-orders, sigh.
