What cases have you found?

I was on the mobile fun website looking at cases for the z fold 3 and I found this clear case with hinge protector that has slot for the spen. I don't know anything about the brand. My thing is the part that holds spen don't seem to cover much of the spen like the original case from Samsung with spen that I got as a freebie for pre-ordering does. I be afraid that it would fall out easily. I could be wrong tho lol. I'm actually thinking about getting it since it would show off the green on fold 3 and the front display won't be covered like the Samsung case. Here is a link for anyone curious to see it. Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like it has 2 hinge protectors. Like one just to cover the hinge and one to snap on for when carrying spen.

Here is another site that has a few more pics and says it is in stock. I see now it has these little notches or whatever you want to call them in the hinge protector and at the bottom of the page it shows you having to slide it out. Well both sites show it. Anyone order from this site before? Good place to buy from?

Interesting, in the second site it does seem to clearly show they have two hinge protectors - one with and one without a place for the Spen. I never bought from them but it's an interesting design. I wonder how secure that hinge protector is, but I assume secure enough. I'd prefer something more opaque than transparent, though. Nice that they are coming out with innovative ways to cover the hinge and hold the Spen. I think I'd prefer this to the Samsung one.

Yeah I was like hmmm...interesting lol. I'm probably going to order one soon. I usually stick with colored cases but thought I might give it a try. I usually don't use cases like the Samsung one with spen and slot for it cause of the front case covering the front of phone but it was free so I'll try it lol.

I am going to be testing out the cover case w/spen. I know it is going to add some thickness, but I love the S Pen so much. For those who will be wielding the S Pen/S Pen Pro how will you be carrying it around.

Here’s some pics of Spigen Thin Armor Pro on ZF2 ..it definitely thickens phone but I enjoyed it when I wanted full mode protection

I have this exact case, the Slim Armor Pro for Z Fold2, has been installed since November 2020, I love it, well worth the price I paid. If you don't mind a little extra thickness go for it. I just changed providers last week and put my aramid case on and it only lasted 10 minutes before I put the Slim Armor back on, I'm so used to it now. I think it helps me hold the phone open and closed.

Wrote to Spigen. They will be releasing an SPen cover. Definitely waiting for that.

Spigen is my top brand for the z fold 2. That would be awesome for them to come out with spen cover case. Hopefully it won't cover the front outer display like the Samsung one. Can't wait to see it. Thanks.

As I want to use the pen with the phone, I'm going with Samsung's notes kit

I saw a video on Amazon demonstrating the Samsung case that has the S Pen insert - you know, after looking at it, it doesn't seem that bad. I will likely still use a sturdier case, but I had no idea the S pen holder that is attached to the spine can be taken off if you don't need to bring it with you. Then it's just a folio type case with a magnetic cover. When you open the magnetic cover, the cover screen comes on.

I was actually thinking that after seeing the UK bundle with the S Pen and case, that those who got the bundle did not get a separate case for the S Pen it seemed (like you would if you bought the S Pen alone?) - so I was thinking I would need to store the S Pen in the case permanently. But since the holder comes off, I see you do get somewhat of a case for the S Pen that you can then use that to put in your bag with your phone in another case - if you wanted to do that.

Anyway, I am thinking of alternating cases, but all these cases come with adhesive to keep the cases in place. How will that affect my ability to change cases back and forth?? I rather not use the adhesive but I don't want my case to fly off either. lol

I didn't think that case came with adhesive. At least I'm not seeing any including that video. I do recall adhesive being mentioned. For a case but i don't think that applies to all of them.

I'm a z fold 2 owner (until my fold 3 arrives later this week) and I've been using the spigen tough armor pro case for close to a year now. It adds A LOT of thickness to the fold but it really does protect everything, including the hinge. I've dropped my fold 2 a few good times on a hardwood floor and there's no sign of damage so far. I'm probably going with a uag case this time though for my fold 3. Love uag cases. They usually feel great in the hands and offer excellent drop protection

My spigen tough armor fold 2 case came with adhesives too. I didn't want my case stuck to my phone because I switch my sim card into a backup phone when I exercise or when I'm going out and I think it's about to rain. I cut off the small tabs that are used to pull off the adhesive coverings so that my fold sits flush in the case. The only problem I've had with the case moving is sometimes the part that covers the front screen and hinge will slide off a little when I open my fold. It's a minor inconvenience but no big deal once you get used to it.

I removed my adhesives and still swapped out cases.. You really don't have to use it and it's mainly helpful for the front screen as the thin edges lift a little...
