Just a matter of tastes that's all. I've always been a fan of grey colors and tints ....when it comes to cars or electronics. Navy blue is possibly my favorite color overall.

Oh that's a nice case. I got the blue UAG CASE for my note 5. Yes note 8 going to look great in a clear case. Right now I got that blue Samsung s view case on note 5

I'd buy a car like yours any day over the ridiculously expensive vehicles. I can honestly say those super expensive cars don't interest me in the slightest.

On topic: I'd take a blue note. I had the blue coral Note 7 and wasn't sure if I'd like it, and I LOVED it. I had it in a clear case and loved it so much. I will not buy a Note 8 for almost $1000 unless it's the color I want. Samsung is morons if they don't introduce blue at launch.
