What do I have to do to make my phone stop displaying LG IMS has stoppef working

It keeps popping up on the screen... Ive deleted several photis and videos almost all of them to ne exact but no room frees up. Can you help me Please

Welcome to Android Central! That message means something about the messaging service is causing a glitch -- it has nothing to do with low storage. Go to Settings>Apps, select the messaging app, then Storage, then Clear Cache. If that doesn't help, then you could also try Clear Data for that app, but it might erase any saved message threads.
