I don't care what skin you ship it with... just dont lock the bootloader.
I dont understand why this is so hard to understand for Motorola...
Its MY phone, let me do what I want with it
Would you buy a car that had a locked hood so you couldn't open it? What if you wanted to change your own oil instead of paying someone else to do it? "Sorry we locked the hood to protect you from yourself."
Would you buy a computer that you couldn't reinstall windows or upgrade to the newest version until Dell/HP/Acer/Toshiba got around to it?
Or how about if they decided you couldn't install the newest version because your computer is to old... not because its not powerful enough to run it... but simply its because its 2 years old? "Sorry we no longer want you to install any updates so your forced to buy a new one"

Don't get me wrong as I am NOT defending Motorola locking their bootloaders just looking at it in a different way. The issue for Motorola is if people start screwing with their devices and breaking them they might end up giving free phones that shouldn't be given out thus costing them money. Plus it ends up costing them money if they have to give tech support to people who bricked or messed up their phones. I think that's why they do what they do.
Also to the OP I have the Atrix and before that I had the Inspire for a few days. I liked the Sense UI and was not excited to move to Blur. I actually didn't mind the switch and I don't mind Blur anymore. I rooted the phone and deodexed it as well and now am also running a ROM/Theme based on Gingerbread. I also use Launcher Pro Plus and couldn't be happier. Plus the TegraZone has some sweet games and those will continue to come out. Oh and PlayStation Suite is said to be coming to Tegra 2 devices later this year as well so that could also help in your decision.
