What do you do with your old phones?

I recycled my Motorola V195S, gave away my Blackberry Pearl Flip, sold my Samsung Vibrant, and gave away my Nexus S. Probably replacing my Nexus 4 in a couple months; not sure what I'll do with it yet.

i keep mine, and use them as media devices.

one of em....my old galaxy S, is just plugged in at all times and paired to a little BT speaker that also is always plugged in. it's my state of the art music system.:)

My Nokia Ngage i somwhere in house, Samsung Ace is working as a metronom when i play drums. I always try to sell phones when price is good.

I always keep my old phones for me..Because i love my old phones..I never sell it anybody...One day i will definitely use it again..

for the most part i sell them to get a new phone... but i only do that with the high end androids the mid end ones i just keep because they dont have too much value... for example i sold my rezound and look forward to selling my m7 but i still have my original incredible and incredible 4g

I keep my most recent phone as a backup. Older phones go to a local domestic abuse program that connects domestic violence survivors with much needed resources.

I'm giving most of my old phones to my family members (parents, brother, sister)... I keep some in my drawer as a backup

last year I had to send my phone in and had to use an old Nokia for 2 weeks... it was not nice to be thrown back to the 90s :D

i generally sell the old to get the new one hahahah

so its like: money from selling old phone + aditional money = new phone!

Really depends! I keep mine for a little bit. I just upgraded to the new Moto X and I have an M7 now just sitting here. More than likely will sell the device online or locally. Whatever comes first. Its in mint condition. So why not put it toward the new device I just bought? :P

Depends on where you live, but I know it some areas, homeless shelters or women's shelters take them. Any cellphone can be used to call 911, even if it's not on a plan.

First smartphones my wife and I got were the OG Moto Droids. Mines a music device, hers is in a dock in the bedroom, alarm and music.
After two years, we upgraded to the GNex, and almost three years later, we're still using them.
I know, I'm a bad Android fanboy...

I always hand them down to people who need to upgrade their phone. Often to my younger brother, or grandfather/grandmother or equal. There is always need for these.
